Russian Scientists Find Yeti Hair

After examining the DNA in ten hairs found last year in a Siberian cave, Russian and
American scientists have come to the conclusion that it does not belong to any known
animal. They do however, know that it belongs to an ape-like mammal that is closer to
humans than to monkeys.
According to Professor Valentin Sapunov, from the Russian State Hydrometeorological
Institute, ”We had ten samples of hair to study, and have concluded that they belong to
mammal, but not a human.”
